Plot
The film is based on real socio-political events associated with India and Pakistan. The story follows Hamza Ali Mazhari (Ranveer Singh), a young man shaped by the loss of family members and systemic corruption. Living under the dominance of crime lord Rehman Dakait (Akshaye Khanna), Hamza witnesses widespread abuse of power. After a tragic incident, he initiates a rebellion against the criminal-political nexus.
As Hamza’s uprising intensifies, SP Aslam Choudhary (Sanjay Dutt), a conflicted police officer, is forced to re-evaluate his moral duties. Major Iqbal (Arjun Rampal), an enigmatic ex-officer with shifting loyalties, adds complexity to Hamza’s mission.
